    Questions Regarding VIX


    VITRO Internet Exchange

    VITRO Internet Exchange (VIX) is the country's first and only high-speed local IP peering platform that facilitates seamless delivery of bandwidth intensive content to a majority of carriers and ISPs. Its partnerships with the country's leading telecommunications companies and Internet Service Providers allow massive transfer of IP traffic between carriers and content providers without compromising speed and latency. VIX is ideal for applications and content that require fast and consistent access and low latency among its user base.





    Vitro has a direct impact on LolPH. Supported ISPs are directly peered with ePLDT, which hosts Garena's data centers. A non-VIX ISP can have problematic connections, since high traffic can cause congestion- something that VIX is easily designed to handle.

    Only your ISP can have their subscription to the VIX. To know more about the VIX see the definition below.

    Garena has made an agreement with Riot Games to prevent Southeast Asian gamers from accessing the North American and European servers via IP blocking. This was a common practice among game publishers. It is also an industry standard here in PH to use VIX when you are in game publishing or media business.     Hello Game masters im from binan laguna my ISP is Intelco and ive installed and re-installed lol on my ph but still i cannot login, i always says "Login error, is there a solution to fix this kind of problem? Thank you

    First of all I would like to thank you for providing all the important screenshots needed in checking the issue, looking at your report, it seems that there is something wrong with the connection of your ISP connecting to our game, I also verified that your are not subscribed in Sky Broadband ISP rather the ISP that your are subscribed to is My Destiny ISP. FYI, just like what I've said on my previous post that My Destiny ISP is having some technical issues with their VIX membership. The report on this case has been forwarded to our IDC (where all our game servers are hosted). However, My Destiny ISP is currently in negotiation with the IDC about this matter. We will post an update on this issue the soonest possible time. Apologies for the inconvenience this may have caused.

    Hello po GM, prob ko din Log-In error. Tnry ko na i-reinstall. Kaso ganun pa din. Tnry ko din iinstall sa ibang pc dito sa bahay pero ganun pa din. Sa Binan Laguna din po ako. Isp ko Intelco. Tnry ko na mag resync ng clock, iuntick ung certificate sa IE, at mdami pa, kaso ganun pa din. Any solution po?

    I'm sorry for bringing up this again here but the thread about Royal ISP connection problem was closed and i still have questions.

    Thank you for bringing up this matter, please be informed that Royal Cable ISP is under with the management PLDT ISP.

    PLDT ISP is a member of VIX, but even Royal Cable is under PLDT, it doesn't mean that all Royal Cable can connect to the League of Legends PH servers because there are only allotted IP blocks for Royal Cable that can connect to the game.

    - Since when did Royal Cable become under management of PLDT or become a member of VIX? ( please correct me if i'm wrong)
    - How will these blocks be available? I haven't had any success in even logging on to the client.

    So if you are experiencing Log in error while using Royal Cable, it only means that all IP blocks are currently occupied by the other Royal Cable user.

    - I can't even log in at 3:00am or at any time of the day. I'm very skeptical that all IP blocks are occupied at
    3:00 in the morning. How are you sure that this is the process? And if this truly is the process then how
    come we can never connect to the login client?
    Who are these other Royal Cable users?



    Before 5/28/2014 i haven't had any problems connecting. If Royal cable(PLDT ISP) was a VIX member ( please correct me if my understanding is wrong ) before 5/28/2014 then why did this problem appear only last week? I'm sorry if I'm asking a lot of questions but the Laguna bel air Garena users here are not convinced by your reply to the previous thread which was closed. Its not only me that encounters this problem but everyone i know here at Laguna bel air does.

    Those blocks are available by chance, they are momentarily station to users and rotate after a certain time. A simple analogy for this scenario is a transient house for customers (Self explanatory). To know more about these IP blocks, Kindly contact your royal cable associate.

    As what I have stated above, It is momentarily station to a user. Even if a royal cable user is not using their connection doesn't mean that the blocks will be available for other users. A good example for this case is GM Elie.

    GM Elie is a royal cable user, we've received reports from her not being able to connect to our server for a few days. Although as for this week, she now has access to our server due to the rotation of IP blocks.

    Wow! Thank you for this quick, straight to the point and informative response with good analogy and example!!

    Royal Cable customer service is hopeless, they couldn't understand what we were trying to explain. For them, as long a we can browse the internet everything's fine. With this post we can now understand why we are unable to connect for the last week. It seems that we'll have to wait our turn for the rotation. For now we'll just keep using our globe pocket wifi~

    Umm Im also a Royal Cable User, Im at LBA 2. Can you please fix this problem? Everyday i keep Doing This but everytime i login in to League of Legends, Its already a login error. Please fix this problem immediately so that royal cable users will connect to pvp.net. Because at LBA 2, We cant connect to pvp.net because of the ip blocks except Computer shops.

    Not to be rude here but seriously, did you ever read the whole thread or even at least the first page before posting? It was clearly stated that your ISP (Royal Cable) and some others are the one who has issues in regards with their membership with VIX. Only your ISP can solve this problem.

    Temporary solution: I know this is not practical and is not applicable to everyone due to limited selection of ISPs on some specific location but for now the best solution is to transfer to an ISP who is a member of VIX.
