Traceroute is used to determine the specific route taken by packets across a network.
A traceroute can be performed using the following steps:

    1) Open Start Menu [or Windows + R] and type/search Run. At Run, type cmd and hit OK.

    2) At the Command Prompt (cmd), type
    tracert 125.5.3.1

    3) Copy the details by right-clicking on the Command Prompt Window, and hit Select All from drop-down menu. When the background turns white, hit "enter" key to copy all the information. The copied information can be pasted into an email, notepad, word, etc.
