Staff Icon 2 Account Selling Announcement

    Greetings Summoners,

As some of you may be unaware, Account Selling is strictly prohibited in the LoL community as stated in our End of User License Agreement under Section III - D. Any Summoner caught selling an account in any Garena channel and in game will be permanently suspended. Any one who gets caught selling an account of a friend or anyone else's account for that matter will also receive suspension.

We would like to advice all Summoners to keep their passwords private so we can prevent 3rd party users from accessing your account. You're the only one responsible for your account and it's safety at all times. Once an account is proven guilty of Account Selling it will be permanently suspended, and will be irrevocable as Garena deems fit.

    * For account selling reports, PM our Moderators here in our forums and include an unedited screen shot of the account seller.

    Thank you!

    LoL PH Team

Staff Icon 2 How to Customize Item Sets

The item shop has been your one-stop spot for Infinity Edges, Ohmwreckers and Doran's enchanting accessories for quite some time. Happily, you'll now have a second, in-client place to research and plan builds. The new Item Set tab lists every in-game item and lets you customize your builds for your favorite setups.

Once in the client, click on your profile and find the new Item Sets tab we've stuck in there for you. Inside the tab, you'll see three columns.

The left-hand column is where you generate new item sets and give them individual names. The second column lets you sort items exactly like you would in the in-game item shop. To create your custom item builds, you'll drag and drop an item into a block in the third column.

"What's a block?" you say. The recommended build that you see in-game is made of blocks. They're called things like "Starting Items," "Essential Items," etc. Your blocks can be re-named to whatever you want.

So you've created your top-secret builds. Now it's time to assign them to specific champs and maps. There are two tabs at the top of the third column. You created your item sets in the 'Items' tab; switch it over to 'Maps and Champions' to associate your new build with as many maps and champs as you like.

Figured out a hyper AP build for Ziggs, Yi and Zilean on Howling Abyss? Sweet. Want a tanky jungle build for Sejuani, Nautilus and Amumu on Summoner's Rift? Do it up. It's your call.

Just remember to tap that save button and your custom build will be ready for quick in-game clickery. You'll spend less time in the item shop and more time helping your team secure the W.

    What are item sets?
Item sets are a way for you to create new recommended item pages that will show up in the item shop when you play.

How do I make item sets?
Select the item sets tab in your profile. Add a new page and start dragging items into it. You can create new blocks so that you can organize your items by offensive, defensive, jungle, or whatever you think of. When you save your page it will be available in-game through the item shop.

Does this save to my account?
Currently, item sets will only save to your local machine, but Riot Games want to get server-side saving to you soon. Riot Games know that this will be much better for players when they can use the feature across multiple computers, and they're working to deliver that. The server-side version will take some time since it requires additional platform work, and Riot Games want to make sure that they won't impact service stability.

How does this work with community-made recommended item builders?
Recommended item pages created using 3rd party tools should still work. They can co-exist with the ones created using the item set feature, but you will not be able to use the Item Sets feature to edit your 3rd party sets.

Can I have more than one item set per champion?
Yes, you are able to select as many champions as you'd like to be associated with an item set. You can also opt to make your item set available for all champions if you prefer.

What does this look like in game?
The recommended tab now has a drop down. Custom item sets directly associated with the Champion you are playing will appear first in the drop down, followed by recommended items, followed by more general item sets and sets that are associated with multiple champions and maps.

Staff Icon 2 How to Protect your Garena Account

Would you face-check a bush or chase an enemy champion into an unwarded jungle?

Hmm.. The answer to these questions is, of course, NO. Sometimes, we answer yes to all of those, often to disastrous results. After all, most of us are human! Your account security is exactly like that. Very often we are presented with tempting choices that seem good at the time, but end up having terrible consequences. The article below should make you more aware of potential threats to account security.

    GOOD SECURITY PRACTICES

    - Choose a secure password
    - Keep your system updated
    - Be careful with shared systems

    BAD SECURITY PRACTICES

    - Do not share your account information
    - Do not respond to scamming or phishing attempts

    GOOD SECURITY PRACTICES

    CHOOSE A SECURE PASSWORD!

"Of all your possessions, I am the hardest to guard.
If you have me, you will want to share me.
If you share me, you no longer have me. What am I?"
    - Doran

You should think carefully about choosing your password. Your password should not be easy to guess, even to someone who knows you well. Below are some handy tips that should help you with choosing a secure password:
    - Your password should not contain words from any dictionary; this includes words spelled backwards. Dictionaries are often used to generate a list of possible passwords from common words and terms.
    - Use a combination of letters, numbers, special characters, spaces and capitalization but keep in mind that their distribution is also very important. For example, "password123" is not very secure, but "bLu3!p8P3py" is extremely difficult to guess.
    - The longer the password, the less the chances that someone may be able to guess it. We recommend that you create a password that uses as many characters as possible.
    - We recommend that you do not use your account name or summoner name in your password, as if it is followed by numbers, special characters or other words it will make it easier to guess. Finally try to use a unique password that is different from any of your other passwords (email account, social media websites, online bank account, other online gameaccounts, etc).

    KEEP YOUR SYSTEM UPDATED

"You belong in a museum!" - Ezreal

    -
Antivirus software helps you fight against viruses and other malicious third party programs (i.e. key-loggers and Trojans).
    - Keeping your OS current ensures that critical security updates are installed to combat against nasty online critters.

    BE CAREFUL WITH SHARED SYSTEMS

"Mundo will go where he pleases!" - Dr. Mundo

    - Use of public computers, such as those at internet cafe's, significantly increases the risk of your personal information becoming compromised. Your password can be compromised by simply logging in from one of these shared systems in the event that harmful software has been installed.
    - If you've played on a shared system before, you should consider changing your password just in case.
    - If you use a shared computer regularly, be sure to log out when you are done!

    BAD SECURITY PRACTICES

DO NOT SHARE YOUR ACCOUNT INFORMATION

"Two tigers cannot share one mountain." - Nidalee

    - You may NOT share your account with anyone, not even a friend or a family member. Doing so is against our EULA (End User License Agreement) Section III-D for a number of reasons that are listed below:
    1. FRIENDS AND FAMILY - Maybe your friend wants to try out a new champion, or perhaps you want to share the account in order to maximize your IP gain.
    2. ELO BOOSTERS - The frustration of losing games when it happens due to circumstances outside of your control is completely understandable, but purchasing services of an Elo booster is generally more trouble than it's worth. You are exposing your account to a potential compromise at the hands of an internet stranger and you have no way to recover your money in case the Elo booster does not live up to their end of the bargain, even if the offer is tempting.
    3. ACCOUNT TRADING - This should be avoided as you will have no way to reverse the transaction if the deal goes bad. Also, since the original account owner will have knowledge of creation details, it is possible that they might even be able to recover the account via Player Support! Do not be tempted by dubious offers, like the one shown below:

    4. FREE RP OFFERS - Do not click on suspicious links. Beware of scams similar to the examples given below:

NOTE: Take note of our official websites below:
    - garena.ph
    - fb.com/LoLPH
    - fb.com/phgarena
    - lol.ph
    - fb.com/gphesports
    - forum.lol.garena.ph

Just in case you need any kind of help regarding your account, you may contact our Customer Support @ http://garena.ph/support.

    Always be a responsible Summoner!

Staff Icon 2 How to Use the Reporting Tool

How does the Reporting Tool work?

    T
he Report Feature Tool is now implemented, a lot of our fellow Summoners are concerned about what will happen under this new banning process. First and foremost this feature will target the most toxic players and we want these players to reform their behavior and become good members of the community.

We gathered the most frequent questions from all of you regarding how this feature works.
    • How long is the offense per report?
By using this new banning process we don't only look at a single game anymore. We are targeting the most toxic players who have repeatedly shown extremely negative behaviors such as verbally abusing other players or using racist language. We collect all player reports and determine punishments for those with the worst track record of toxicity. The ban duration is dependent on how toxic a player is in relation to the entire PH community.. If you're punished by the system but start demonstrating good behavior, the system will recognize this improvement and you won't be repeatedly punished.
    • How are players investigated? What is the process?
We will only ban the most toxic players in the community that do not improve their behavior. We are looking into how often a player is being reported, and how severely a player has negatively influenced the experience of others. We also take into account the credibility of the people who file reports. If you are a positive player in League of Legends and only report when necessary, your reports will actually be worth a lot more than someone who abuses the reporting system and falsely reports other players.
    • How will you review troll reports?
Players will only be punished for consistently creating negative experiences over multiple games. If you are reported in one game, this single case will not result in a ban. We also take into account the credibility of reporters. The reports filed by a positive player hold more weight than the reports filed by a player who's been abusing the reporting system. Generally, players who follows the Summoner's Code and respect their fellow gamers should not be concerned.
    • How frequently will players be banned?
We will be banning toxic players whose behavior hasn't improved on a monthly basis.
    • Will there be a ban list?
There won't be a ban list. Players who are banned will receive email notifications to those players who have verified email. To start, we will give single game chat restrictions to players we've identified as the most toxic in the PH community. This is a light warning for these players and harsher punishments will take place in the future.

This Report Feature serves to regulate the conduct and behavior of Summoners in the community. We hope that you will use the Report function wisely and enable LoLPH to have a more positive community.

    Mute and Ignore Features
    • If a Summoner has caused you a negative play experience, we currently have a reporting system in place, as well as the /mute and /ignore features.
    • Typing /mute "Summoner name" or /ignore "Summoner name" will stop the messages from appearing (you do not type the " marks).
    • If muting or ignoring a player doesn't stop the negative experience, please use the reporting system.
    • Please know that even though we have an ignore and mute function, that does not mean it is still acceptable to use foul or offensive language.
    Reporting a Player

Clicking the exclamation in the post-game chat, or right clicking the offensive Summoner will give you the option to report them. This makes it easier for the game developers to track these reports. Reports are used in our New Banning System where the most toxic players who have repeatedly given a negative environment to their team mates will be reported, assessed then banned.

    1. At the end of each game, you can click on the red exclamation mark to report a player.
    2. A new window will appear. Click the drop down icon to choose the offense.
    3. You will then be able to report the player for various negative behaviors.
    4. After choosing an offense you may add more information at the comment box.
    5. A notice will then appear that you have successfully sent a report:

    * We do NOT have the Tribunal System. For the meantime, reports are sent to the game developers to process the data to be forwarded to our Report Banning System for further review and investigation.

What are the different reporting options?
    • Harassment: Offensive Language - Including, but not limited to language that is vulgar, obscene, sexually explicit, or racially, ethnically, or otherwise objectionable.
    • Harassment: Verbal Abuse - Including, but not limited to, language that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
    • Griefing: Intentional Feeding - Purposely dying to enemy champions or turrets to make the opposing team more powerful while putting your team at a disadvantage.
    • Griefing: Assisting Enemy Team - This includes using all-chat or Summoner abilities to assist the opposing team in any way.
    • Unskilled Player - If you feel that a Summoner is not playing well - such as not last hitting, not using the right skills, having the wrong build, and having poor map awareness, you can report that player for being unskilled.
    • Refusing to Communicate with Team - Applies to any Summoner that refuses to use chat or pings.
    • Leaving the Game/AFK - This includes logging out or exiting the Game before a match ends as well as standing idle for long periods of time or refusing to participate in the match at all. Such players will be taken cared of by the Leaver Buster System.
    • Negative Attitude - Any Summoner that is constantly putting other Summoners down or being generally negative about the game.
    • Inappropriate Name - Select this option is you see a Summoner name that is falsely indicative of an association with Riot Games, contains personally identifying information, infringes on the proprietary rights of third parties, or that is offensive, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, sexually explicit, racially, ethnically, or otherwise objectionable. This also applies if the name uses a misspelling or an alternative spelling to circumvent this restriction on Summoner name choices.
    • Spamming - Whether for personal or commercial purposes, by disrupting the flow of conversation with repeated postings of a similar nature is a reportable offense.
Always use the Reporting Tool whenever you encounter a toxic player.

Staff Icon 2 Champion Mastery FAQs

Will I get xp credit for how much I've already played a champion?
We're not currently planning to do this. Because this is a new system, we want players to feel progress (and earn rewards!) based on how well they do and the champions they choose to play.

What goes into the grading system? How do you calculate it?
It's based on the champion and role that you just played in a game. So, for example, we look at Annie mid differently to Annie support. We take a series of performance metrics and compare how you do to all other players in your region in your champion / position combination. It is percentile driven - so earning a high score means you performed in the top x% of players on that champ in that position. The grade itself governs the point gains.

How many games will it take to level up?
We expect players to take 15-30 games to level through the first set of levels (1 through 5). We'll be unlocking additional levels later.

Is this going to feel grind-y?
This system is performance based - the quicker you master a new champion, the quicker you'll make progress.

At the same time, we want it to be accessible enough that all players can feel good about improving.

We're tuning this system so that you will be leveling up the set of champions that you really enjoy playing and getting meaningful feedback on your performance each game. The ceilings are intentionally set low for each individual champion to avoid making it feel like a grind.

    Can you be demoted?
No demotions or decay is currently planned.

What other kinds of rewards are planned for the future?
We are going to see how people enjoy using the system and what they like about it before we finalize our future plans. We'd love feedback on this.

Will skins ever be a reward?
It's not something being considered right now, but ideas are explored for other ideas for unique rewards we think you guys might like.

Will this work on Dominion and ARAM? Will it ever in the future?
This is currently limited to SR.

Can the enemy team see the crests in-game or in the loading screen?
Not initially, but this may be revisited in the future.

Can other players see my grade at the end of the game?
No. These grades are for you and not something for others to be able to see. They will not available to 3rd party sites either.

Will the score account for AFKers?
Can confirm, AFKing will result in a bad score.

Staff Icon 2 Chromas Packs FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions about Chromas Packs

Learn more about Chroma Packs below:

What is the Prime part of the name of the Lucian Prime chroma pack?
Chroma Packs is a new line of thematic bundles with tight-knit color palettes that complement each other. Here's the list of the initial chroma packs with their theme names and colors:

Dragon Fist Lee Sin Duel - Black, Blue, Yellow
Lucian Prime - Blue, Red, Yellow
Pool Party Leona Dawn - Pink, Azure, Lemon
Blitzcrank Steel - Cobalt, Molten, Gunmetal
Garen Noble - Garnet, Plum, Ivory
Fizz Scorch - Black, Red, Orange
Nemesis Jax Sand - Cream, Brick, Amber

How can I see all the chromas currently available?
Through the magic of hexspheres. Or if you don't have any of those, you can find chroma packs in the Bundles tab of the store.

Why don't chromas have new or recolored splashes?
At this point, we have no plans to recolor splash art for champions and skins with chroma packs. We've historically viewed splash art as an expression of a champ's or skin's core identity. Chroma packs are ways for you to share your personal style and deepen your experience with champions and skins, but they don't change that champ or skin's identity.

Can I gift chroma packs? What about mystery gifts?
Not at launch, but we'll explore this option in the future.

You said chroma packs are 100 RP, butwhen I try to pick up the Nemesis Jax Sand chroma pack, it shows up as 300 RP in the store?

TLDR: Price includes champion and/or skin if you don'town it.
All chroma packs are actually the same price atlaunch: 100 RP. But our bundle tech recognizes whether or not you have thechampion or skin and includes them in the price if you don't. It's meant to bea convenience, so that you don't have go to two different parts of the store ifyou're just trying to browse Chroma Packs

Can I buy chroma packs in champion select?
No. Unlike skins, you'll have to unlock chroma packs in the store. They're sold as thematic sets, so they can't be picked up during champion select.

How did you pick the champion and skins for these first-run packs?
Artistic suitability was considered, potential QA issues, champion and skin popularity, and a veritable cornucopia of other factors when figuring out the best cands for these first chroma packs. Also, the community wanted Blucian.

How will you choose future chroma packs?

Any champion or skin could get chroma packs, and our criteria going forward will be guided by popularity, interest, and suitability but not mandated by any one of those things.

Are you making these as opposed to new skins?
Nope. It's not either/or;Riot Games get to do both. Obviously we can't just spoil a bunch of new skins here in an FAQ, but they're still coming, and more will be offered, not fewer.

What's the difference between a chroma pack and a skin?
Skins provide an opportunity to experience a champion in a way that's different from normal (like Rumble and Super Galaxy Rumble). We continue to look for new ways for you to engage with your favorite champions. Skins are usually about alternate fantasies, where chromas are working with a lot more than fifty shades of grey. Chromas are about expressing your style and personality, color-coordinating your team, or adding a new dimension to a champion or skin you play all the time.

Will particles be recolored as well?
Generally no, but this is looked into with some champions and skins where it makes the most sense.

Why can't I earn chromas or buy them with IP?
All options are still open in the future, but at launch we are sticking with RP-only, in line with our historical approach to cosmetic content.

Selling optional cosmetic in-game items allows us to support League of Legends and invest in evolving the game. More than 90% of Rioters work on features and content that can be experienced for free (stuff like featured game modes, champions, music content, and esports). New cosmetic options like chroma packs help ensure we can continue building awesome, free experiences even though the majority of players choose not to spend anything. Players who see the value can buy chroma packs, and those who don't can enjoy a little more variety when they see their teammates and opponents using them.

Why are chromas offered in packs instead of individually?
The community's been talking about alternate color palettes for a while, and we've been examining various ways to deliver. As a result of our explorations, we found that bundling chroma packs around themes and complementary color palettes felt like the most compelling way to offer diverse color choices for how you personalize your favorite champions and skins.

Whenever we consider developing a new type of content, we talk to tons of players -- those who choose to pay for content as well as players who never spend a dime on League -- to target a fair price. This is the initial launch, and we're open to other options for chroma packs and chromas in the future.

Staff Icon 2 Party Rewards FAQs

    Party Rewards FAQs

    WHAT ARE PARTY REWARDS?
When you play in a premade with one or more other players in any matchmade queue, you and your team will have a random chance to earn a party reward at the end of each game. The reward is a random amount of bonus IP!

DOES IT MATTER HOW MANY PLAYERS ARE IN THE PREMADE?
You need to have at least one other player to be eligible for the reward. However, the more players you have, the higher your chances of earning a higher tiered IP bonus.

You do not have to be friends with the players in your premade to be eligible for the Party Rewards.
WHAT QUEUES CAN PLAYERS EARN PARTY REWARDS IN?
You can earn Party Rewards in all matchmade queues as long as you queue up with at least one friend. Reward values may differ by queue (for example, you will earn less in ARAM than in Summoner's Rift).

WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENT POSSIBLE REWARD TIERS?
The different reward tiers are multipliers of your base IP awards. Here are the highest rewards you can possibly receive:

    Party Size Max Jackpot Prize
    Party of one No bonus
Party of two Up to 4x IP
Party of three Up to 6x IP
Party of four Up to 8x IP
Full team Up to 16x IP

For example, if you are duo queueing with a friend, the maximum amount of IP you can receive will be 4x the amount of IP you would have originally received. There is also a possibility you may only receive 2x IP. Keep in mind that it is possible to receive no additional IP at all! It?s all in the luck of the draw... Good luck!

I AM CURRENTLY USING A BOOST! WILL MY BOOST AFFECT THE PARTY REWARD IP BONUS?
Your purchased IP boosts will be added to your base IP then multiplied by the Party Reward multiplier. Your total IP gain will look something like this:

I DIDN'T RECEIVE ANYTHING AT THE END OF MY GAME. WHERE IS MY REWARD?
Keep in mind that it is possible to receive no additional IP at all. If you still believe you did not receive the full amount of IP rewarded to you as specified in the game client, please submit a ticket as we will further investigate the issue.

Staff Icon 2 Dodge Penalty FAQs

Learning more about the Queue Dodge Penalties
by Yegg, Senior Game Designer of RIOT
    Hey all,

To start this discussion, I'd like to go back in time a bit. Back in June of 2012, we announced a change to the ranked queue dodge penalty. It was clarified that the change was somewhat of an experiment and that we'd be making further changes if necessary. At the time, we removed Elo penalties for two reasons:

    1. The Elo penalties were undermining the matchmaker and opening up abuse cases that people were very much using.
    2. Queue dodging is sometimes a valid defense mechanism against toxic situations, and we didn't want to punish people too harshly for using it.

In many ways this worked out well. Players looking for easy wins could no longer dodge their way down to Elo ratings hundreds or thousands points below their skill level. Other players stuck with true griefers in their lobby could get out of that situation without any permanent penalty. These are all good things.

However, over the last 7 months it became clear that there were three undesirable side effects:

    1. Trolls gained more power in champ select.
    2. Players were much less willing to work together and became much more focused on what they individually wanted.
    3. Some players started using queue dodging to micromanage their Elo gains and would dodge whenever they perceived the matchup to be unfavorable.

The first two above led to an increase in trolling in champ select, which in turns leads to an increase in queue dodging. Combined with the increases from the micromanaging group, it's now the case that queue dodging is very common in the ranked solo queue.

You might think that I'm crazy based on the first point above. Trolls gained more power when we removed the Elo penalty? You're probably also thinking that by increasing the penalty now, we're giving trolls more power because it punishes innocent players who are trying to avoid trolls.

The key is this: most trolls want to win just as much as you do. They might believe they need a certain role to do that, or they might be annoying to interact with, but at the end of the day they generally want to win the games they queue up for. Here's a corollary: most trolls don't want to sit through a 30 minute game rocking Karma/Revive/Promote (or whatever the latest "troll picks" are) just as much as you don't want to be in the game alongside them. What they want when they troll pick is for you to dodge for them, because then they'll get another lobby and they might get the role they want. Think back to the days when there was a 10 Elo penalty for dodging. There was much less troll picking in champ select for one simple reason: it often didn't work. If no one dodges, everyone on the team loses, and no individual wanted to dodge and lose Elo, so everyone was compelled to cooperate more. But with the removal of the Elo penalty, it was almost guaranteed that someone would dodge, and once it was clear that troll picking and/or threatening "X or feed" worked, more players starting doing it.

So here's how the penalties work now that the League System is active:
    • Dodging in the ranked solo queue will trigger a 6 minute lockout and will deduct 3 League Points (LP).
    • Dodging in ranked solo if you've dodged recently will trigger a 30 minute lockout and will deduct 10 LP.
    • Dodging a ranked team game will trigger a 1 minute lockout and will deduct 10 LP from the team.
    • Dodging in ranked teams if you've dodged recently will trigger a 60 minute lockout and will still deduct 10 LP from the team.
    • Dodging during a Promotion or Division series will cancel the series, so you'll have to get back to 100 LP to start another series (likely just one game away, unless you had already lost a couple series games).
Now that League Points are on the line, there's much more incentive for everyone on the team to work together and try to reach a positive consensus on champions and roles. The number of League Points lost is small enough that it's not a huge setback if a dodge does happen, but it's big enough that players will think twice about dodging just because they don't like the matchup or didn't get their role. Taking away League Points does not tell the matchmaker that you're worse at the game, which means the penalty is no longer opening up abuse cases or leading to unfair matches.

We've also greatly shortened the time penalties, and almost completely removed them from ranked team dodges, because it sucks when everyone has to wait around for a teammate's dodge penalty to wear off. In general, our goal here is to reduce the amount of time that it takes you to get a game started by reducing the number of failed lobbies.

As with many changes that we make these days, this is an experiment. We'll be monitoring the effects, both in terms of queue dodge rates and also in terms of the feedback that you all give us on the forums. I'll personally be reading all of the replies in this thread even if I don't have a chance to reply to them.

How does the Dodge Penalty feature work?
    • A player who frequently misses or declines ready checks gets a warning that the next missed ready check will result in a penalty.
    • On the next decline or miss, that player will be temporarily locked out of all matchmaking queues
    • This is a small change, but part of our larger effort to keep AFK'ers, queue dodgers and leavers from ruining your games. This feature should get us all onto the Fields of Justice faster.

Like any other feature, we're looking for your feedback. Be sure to let us know what you think!

    Staff Icon 2 Flexi-bundles!

    Greetings Summoners,

Have you ever had an experience buying a bundle from our store and realizing that you could've saved more if you hadn't bought an item from that bundle previously? Did you buy TPA Ezreal and TPA Shen and regretting buying them because of the TPA Skins bundle? This would be a thing of the past with our flexible cost bundles!

What's a flexible cost bundle and how do they work?

Instead of one flat rate for a fixed amount of content, flexible cost bundles automatically adjust their price based on the content you already own. Now you can purchase content at lower bundled prices even if you already own some of the content offered. Bundles will have a minimum cost but pricing is otherwise flexible based on what you own.

    Here's an example:
    • 2012 Lunar Revel Bundle - 516 RP (40% off regular price)
      • Lee Sin - (Regular Price - 80 RP)
      • Talon - (Regular Price - 100 RP)
      • Wukong - (Regular Price - 80 RP)
      • Dragon Fist Lee Sin - (Regular Price - 200 RP)
      • Dragonblade Talon - (Regular Price - 200 RP)
      • Jade Dragon Wukong - (Regular Price - 200 RP)
Let's say you want to avail of the above bundle. However, you already own Lee Sin and Wukong. Without Flexi-Bundles, you would've purchased the bundle for the full price of 516 RP. But with Flexi-Bundles, you deduct part of the content you already own that is included in the bundle from the original bundle price, which would mean more value for your RP!

Currently, Flexi-Bundles apply only to our 2012 Lunar Revel Bundle and 2013 Lunar Revel Bundle.

    * Not all of the future bundles that we would put on sale would be applicable for Flexi-Bundles.

Head on to our store to take advantage of our Flexi-Bundles!

    Staff Icon 2 LeaverBuster FAQs

    What is LeaverBuster?

Leaver Buster is a system we have implemented in order to discourage Summoners from repeatedly leaving matches and/or idling during gameplay. Summoners who exhibit this behavior and have a trend of leaving/idling in games will earn suspensions against their League of Legends account.

    * If you are experiencing technical issues or the game is crashing/disconnecting, please post your concern in the League Support section of our forums: LoL PH Forums: Technical Support
    • Can you lift my suspension?
No. We will not lift or reduce suspensions from Leaver Buster under any circumstances.
    • I just disconnected from two games! Am I going to get banned?
Probably not. The system will only suspend you if you consistently leave/idle games.
    • It is not my fault. My internet/your servers disconnected me. I had a real-life emergency. I had to get off the computer. The game crashed. Unban me!
You are not banned from a single leave. We understand that players may be forced to leave from time to time so the system has been designed to reduce your leaver level as you play games without leaving or idling. If you are not consistently leaving games you will not be banned.
    • What can I do about my Leaver Level?
It takes a pattern of leaves or idles to be affected by the Leaver Buster system. Make sure you can commit to upwards 40 minutes of uninterrupted play time before joining a match. If you find that you are having many instances of emergencies, disconnections, etc., please resolve these issues as best as you can.
    • I crashed and got a leave/ELO loss. Can I get those removed from my account?
Our system does not allow the removal of leaves or the modification of ELO. It was designed in this manner in order to prevent corruption. We're currently working on a system to better accommodate disconnects.
    • How long can I get banned for?
The Leaver Buster system issues bans between 1 hour and 7 days depending on your Leaver Level. As the number of leaves against your account increases, you will receive harsher penalties that could culminate in the permanent suspension of your League of Legends account. The system periodically issues permanent bans against accounts that have hit the 7 day ban too many times.
    • Are ranked, normal, and co-op games treated differently?
Double penalties are issued for idling/leaving ranked games.
    • I left a custom/tutorial game and I got a warning that my account may be temporarily suspended? I thought custom games didn't count?
They don't. This message will appear every time you leave a game, but custom and tutorial games will not earn you a Leaver Level. Leaverbuster only applies to games you have to queue up for = Normal, Ranked, and Co-Op Vs AI.
    • I'm a paying user. Shouldn't I get a bit of leniency on this?
No. Every Summoner contributes to their team's victory or defeat on the Fields of Justice. Those who repeatedly leave games or idle during gameplay hurt their team and the overall experience of all Summoners on the field. In order to discourage this behavior, we must take action against those who make it a habit by issuing suspensions.

Staff Icon 2 Restricted Chat Mode FAQs

    Restricted Chat Mode FAQs

    Spoiler:

    • What happened to my chat function?
Summoners penalized will have limited chat ability in a game starting with 3 chances to chat with team mates. As the game starts, you will be able to unlock more chances to chat every 4 minutes. Be careful not to use up all your chat opportunities because only 5 at a time can be used, after that you have to wait for the 4 minute cooldown. Use your chat wisely.

    • I can't chat with the enemy team.
The all chat feature is also unavailable to summoners under this mode. You will still see chat exchange from team mates and the enemy team.
    • How can I coordinate with my team with limited chat?
You may use the Smart Ping to communicate with team mates, this way you can save time and chat privileges. Make use of your chat wisely and only chat to team mates the most important objectives of your team instead of spamming unnecessary vulgar words.

    • How long will I be under Chat Restriction?
In order to graduate from Restricted Chat Mode, you have to play and finish a number of games that will be shown when you log in your client. You will also be notified of how many games you have already played while in Restricted Chat. Custom games will not count, only match made games will be tallied.

    Spoiler:

    Always respect your fellow Summoners!

Staff Icon 2 Reward (IP/XP) FAQs

    Reward (IP/XP) System Breakdown

    RP, IP and XP

Please note: The minimum time any game needs to last to be eligible for IP/XP rewards is 7 minutes.

RP (Riot Points) can only be received by purchasing these points in the League of Legend stores. You may use RP to purchase most things in the store except for runes.

IP (Influence Points) can only be received by playing games in League of Legends. IP can be used to purchase most things in the store except for champion skins, ward skins, and summoner icons. You earn IP based on the following formula: BASE IP + Match bonus + (BASEx2 for day boosts + ~100 IP for per win boosts) + First Win of the Day Bonus [if applicable].

XP (Experience Points) is the experience points you earn while leveling in League of Legends. These points cause you to level, and you will earn them until you reach the level cap of 30.

Normal PVP and Ranked PvP Games

The points system in League of Legends rewards Summoners based on the time spent played in a game. On average, a 37 minute win will earn approximately 100 IP, and a 37 minute loss will earn approximately 68 IP.

Summoners just beginning their career on the Fields of Justice receive some extra IP and XP per game, but this fades as a summoner levels.

    Custom Games

You will receive a notification at the end of game results screen if you did not receive IP/XP.

    PLAYER REQUIREMENTS
A minimum number of human players must participate in a custom game to receive IP/XP rewards. The current thresholds are:
    • 5 players minimum for Summoner's Rift, Crystal Scar, and Howling Abyss
    • 3 players minimum for Twisted Treeline
    REQUIREMENTS BY LEVEL
    • Summoners above level 11 are limited to six custom game rewards per day. After six games, Summoners will not be rewarded with XP or IP.
    • Summoners level 14 and below earn IP and XP at 100% of the normal rate. Summoners level 15 and above earn rewards more slowly, at about 75% of the normal rate.
    • Summoners level 15 and higher only earn rewards from the first 120 minutes of Custom game play; no points will be awarded after two hours of Custom games.
    Co-op VS. AI Games

Summoners gain a percentage of base XP/IP gain based on their level in Co-op Vs. AI games

    LEVELS

Level 1-9: Beginner and Intermediate bots offer 100% XP/IP.
Level 10-19: Beginner bots grant 85%, Intermediate bots grant 100% XP/IP.
Level 20-29: Beginner bots grant 70%, Intermediate bots grant 90% XP/IP.
Level 30: Beginner bots grant 65%, Intermediate bots grant 80% XP/IP.

    DETAILS
    • Summoners can earn unlimited rewards per day, but earn rewards at 75% of the normal rate after 180 minutes each day.
    • Exceedingly short games (for example, an 8-minute Summoner's Rift game) of Co-op Vs. AI will result in a further penalty to XP/IP gains. This penalty is steeper the shorter the game is.
First Win of the Day Bonus

There is a 'First Win of the Day' bonus which adds 150 IP to your reward. This bonus is set to a 22 hour cycle/ reset as opposed to a calendar day. Every win you get every 22 hours or so, you will get 150 IP added to your IP reward.

Keep in mind that you are able to earn the First Win of the Day bonus only in game modes with a matchmaking queue. This means that you cannot earn it in Custom games.

Staff Icon 2 Skin Price Changes FAQs

    Greetings Summoners,

As you've probably noticed, the quality of champion skins has increased since they were created way back in the days. This upward trend in quality is something that we, together with the Game Developers were always looking to advance while continuing to provide good value and affordable prices to everyone. With that in mind, we felt that its time to revisit our RP skin pricing and come up with more improvements for 2013 and beyond.

To better define the value of your Skin purchase, we'll soon implement a couple of big pricing changes. Skins will then be moved into more clearly defined RP tiers where some prices will decrease and some will get an increase. By positioning these skins into tiers based on their features, players will have a better idea of what they're getting for their RP and be able to make more informed purchase decisions.

We understand that these changes may be too sudden for some players. With that in mind, we are going to have a Bounce Back Skin Sale for skins that will get a price increase before we implement this RP price change.

So watch out for more updates!

    Thank you,
    LoL PH Team
